We were delighted and honoured to be in attendance at the official opening of the new community gym at De Rust farm in Elgin on 17 June.
This Waitrose Foundation supported project is a dream come true for the De Rust agriworkers and their families who can now enjoy the facility. De Rust Human Resources Manager, Roxanne Wakefield, addressed the group gathered for the opening and thanked everyone for their enthusiasm and support, including the Cluver family who were represented as well. Also at the function was Rayneldo Visenyoue, Training and Development Manager at Kromco.
A special thank you to Oom Danny and his Bethlehem Star Christmas Band for the lovely musical welcome! We look forward to hearing how use of the gym facilities is contributing to the physical and social well-being of the workers on the farm.
