In the middle of October at Schoonbee Landgoed in Mpumalanga, a very productive Worker Committee training workshop was held. This group was absolutely amazing in their commitment to get as much value as possible from the quite intense training sessions.
Caroline Poole, Manager Monitoring & Evaluation, represented the Waitrose Foundation and our training service provider was Abraham Moitse from New Hope Training. We're always inspired to see how committee members take up their responsibility and commit to fulfilling their function within the group in order to best represent the interests of the agriworkers on that particular farm. It is Capacity Building in action.
