Grower partner, Dasdrif farm in Moorreesburg, Western Cape, recently applied a portion of their available Waitrose Foundation funding to new signage for their creche and uniforms for the staff. It was also used for branded items for the kids attending the Korrels & Borrels Creche on the farm (including name badges and backpacks).
There was great excitement at the official unveiling of the new sign and the worker community whose kids are looked after at the creche, has a new sense of pride and ownership. We commend this team for creating a beautiful, well-managed facility where the kids are safe and creatively stimulated through various activities while at the creche.
