We received these photos from the very enthusiastic rugby team on our partner farm, Saratoga, in the Robertson district in the Western Cape.
For most of 2020 the team wasn't able to train and local tournaments had to be cancelled due to the Covid-19 outbreak. During the course of 2021, the increase of vaccinations as well as larger outdoor gatherings allowed under the current lockdown level 1, the team has ventured out again and started training in order to prepare for the 2022 tournament.
Sport activities are a fantastic way for the men to be productively busy over weekends, focus on their health and fitness, and also to socialise and relax. We wish them strength for the 2022 rugby season and we look forward to attending some of the games this year.
