Joline Isaacs from La Colline was privileged to be one of the first Waitrose Foundation’s bursary students just a few years ago. She studied a Financial Management course at the Boland College in Stellenbosch and has been job hunting for a Financial Management vacancy ever since she completed her course. She worked as a waitress at Wimpy in Robertson for almost 2 years, because she struggled to find her “dream job”. On Friday, 30 September she received the exciting news, that her application has been successful and that she’s been chosen to work at ABSA Robertson from the 10th of October after numerous applications for such a position.

I would like to take the opportunity and thank Waitrose Foundation for believing in me, thank you for the bursary and thank you for your guidance, love, care and trust. I will never forget how good you have been to me and my family.
I will use every opportunity that I can to impart, help, support and inspire the children, so they all can have a bright future irrespective where they come from.
