On Saturday 19 February our Waitrose Foundation team hosted a workshop at the Devon Valley Hotel outside Stellenbosch for a group of Project Coordinators and Farmworker Committee Chairpersons from the Grabouw district. The group checked in on Friday evening for a welcoming session and then spent a very productive and inspiring day together on Saturday.
The workshop topic was 'Enhancing critical thinking skills for improved programme delivery' and forms part of the Foundation's overall capacity building programme.
We enjoyed the enthusiastic participation and very valuable insights by all attendees shared during the course of the workshop day. There were many thought provoking moments and interactions where group members shared openly from their own experiences. A Saturday well spent in the company of like-minded colleagues.
