In mid-March we returned to the Karoo 1 Hotel Village just outside Touwsriver to host another two day workshop for Partial Care Facilitators and staff from a number of our grower partners in the Western Cape. Representing the Waitrose Foundation were Hilda Links (Manager Education and Training Support) and Eleanor Louw (Regional Coordinator - South).
Included in day 1 of this Partial Care Compliance workshop were various aspects relating to the importance of Early Childhood Development and understanding the Norms and Standards for managing a partial care facility. During the second day, sessions included online meeting protocols, the CAMI programme as well as opportunities for discussion and feedback.
We are very grateful to all our service providers and team members for hosting another productive and valuable workshop, directly impacting the quality and standard of care provided by this group at their respective facilities.
