Waitrose Foundation grower partner, Dasdrif farm in the Moorreesburg district, held a special gratitude celebration for their worker community earlier this month, shortly after the end of the 2022 / 2023 grape season. Our Waitrose Foundation CEO, Kobus Visagie, visited the farm to join in the festivities. Many growers have these ‘oes af’ events and take the time to thank their teams for all the hard work during peak season. A well-deserved holiday normally follows after ‘oes-af’, before it all start over, preparing for the next season.
