We've recently received wonderful news from one of the recipients of our bursary programme which used to be one of the ways through which Foundation funding was applied to create study opportunities for our grower partner worker communities. Unfortunately this particular programme is not running anymore, but we are still in contact with the recipients of the bursaries and following their progress on a regular basis.
We are delighted to have been informed that Kamegelo Modiba graduated from the School of Oral Health Sciences with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery on 13 May 2020, after completing his 3 year study period at the end of 2019. He was recipient of a bursary through the Foundation's partnership with Westfalia Fruit.
Kamegelo is currently based in KZN for a period of practical community service. We are extremely proud of his accomplishments and wish him all the best with his career going forward.
