On Friday the 23rd of June, a group of Yeboneers, gathered at Kaleo Guest Farm in the Koue-Bokkeveld for the #ThathaYouth #Praat event.
The group was treated to the guidance and inspiration from Waitrose Foundation Manager Farm Support, Raymond Engelbrecht, who led the discussions on the day. The support team included Waitrose Foundation Regional Coordinator, Eleanor Louw, Heinrich Fortuin, Werner Waterboer (Langrivier), and Calvin Sass (Alumni).
There were 52 YeBoneers in attendance from two programme streams - a very diverse group from Ceres and surrounding farms. Issues discussed on the day, included Unemployment, Violence, Neglected children, Dysfunctional Schools.
