Joyful and proud moments were shared with the team of Ambrosia Citrus Estates, our grower partner in Hoedspruit in the Limpopo Province in June.
Our Waitrose Foundation CEO, Kobus Visagie, joined the special celebrations at the opening of Ambrosia's new Clinic. Access to quality Healthcare Services is often a huge challenge for agri-workers in rural communities. Having a clinic with trained and caring staff adds incredible value for everyone. We are very excited for Ambrosia. Kobus wished the staff well on the new venture and expressed gratitude that they have taken ownership of this facility and undertaken a very important function for the benefit of Ambrosia’s workers and their families.
