On the 27th of June two of our team members visited our grower partner Cederberg Wines and enjoyed a wonderful warm welcome by Project Coordinator, Pieter du Toit.
Ishmael Lupahla, our Waitrose Foundation Manager: Monitoring & Evaluation, accompanied by Raymond Engelbrecht, our Manager: Farm Support, visited Cederberg Wines to conduct a survey with the workers in order to determine what impact they have experienced from the Waitrose Foundation projects.
The projects running on the farm include the Clinic, Sports facilities and the Partial Care Centre. Seven workers participated in the survey. In addition, Pieter, took us on a tour around the farm and holiday resort. It was a memorable and productive time spent with the workers, seeing the worker committee members again, and connecting with the Cederberg Wines management team who were available during our visit.
