We received these beautiful photos from Randall Maart-Petersen from Verdun in Prince Alfred's Hamlet (near Ceres) in the Witzenberg district.
"Verdun Estates Farm in cooperation with Procare launched a Holiday Programme for their workers' children during the June Holidays. The Holiday Programme lasted 3 days. In total 43 children (ages 5 to 18) attended the programme. Topics covered in sessions with the children included: 'How Do I Keep myself Safe?' and 'Dangers of experimenting with drugs and alcohol'. The third day was spent just having Fun!
Verdun Estates would like to thank Anna-Mart van der Merwe for hosting the Programme and the Waitrose Foundation for the donation of Stationery Bags. It was a very good programme for our children."
