We've received a very positive report from our Waitrose Foundation Manager: Farm Support, Raymond Engelbrecht, after his visit to the Northern Cape in August.
These photos were taken at the Leadership for Life Training session with participants from four of our grower partner farms. The training was held in Kakamas, Northern Cape. This particular programme of the Emerging Leaders Organisation was piloted, focusing on the following modules: Lead Yourself, Lead your Team, and Lead your Finances. The fourth module, namely Lead your Projects, will be facilitated in April 2024, just after the grape production season.
Participants enjoyed the interactive and activity-based learning approach as well as the opportunity to network with peers. We expressed our gratitude for all participants who had to travel long distances to attend and for contributing to the programme with such enthusiasm.
