Last week Raymond Engelbrecht, our Waitrose Foundation Manager Farm Support, was in attendance at a very productive two day Worker Committee training workshop in Hoedspruit, Limpopo province.
The attendees were agriworkers from farms New Dawn, Nomaneng and Zalo Investments, who had to undergo quite an intense training time focusing on their responsibilities as committee members as well as meeting procedures. A lot of group work was done and each group had to present their outcomes. They also had to do self-evaluation.
They're now looking forward to their next training session in January 2022. We'll done to this group for their hard work last week! We wish you well on the journey ahead.
