The collaboration between the committee of Lourens Ferreira and Waitrose Foundation staff enhanced the capacity of the farm to resolve internal challenges, design improvement plans for their current projects and identify suitable, local service providers that can assist with effective implementation of child/youth development programmes
The abovementioned partnership has the intention and ability to improve the creche and aftercare services of the farm in 2019 and beyond. This investment of time, personal interaction and new ideas energised the committee and project coordinator towards new levels of performance in relation to their social development projects.
