In Aussenkehr, Namibia, where homes built with dry reeds and open-flame cooking pose a constant fire risk, a community fire preparedness project was launched to enhance safety. With funding support, 20 community members—including farm workers, family members at home during the day, and local leaders—received fire response training.

Additionally, 20 fire extinguishers were installed in key locations. This initiative has equipped the community to respond more effectively to fire emergencies, significantly improving safety and peace of mind for residents.
