This project aims to provide an alternative energy solution for farmworkers and their families living in the Koue Bokkeveld region, an area significantly affected by ongoing loadshedding and rising electricity costs. Funds will be used to purchase 11 gas stoves, along with 11 corresponding gas pipes and regulators.
These gas stoves offer a practical and cost-effective alternative to electricity for cooking. Given the number of beneficiaries on the farm, the initiative has been implemented in phases. This final phase ensures the remaining group of workers receives their gas stoves—a milestone that was met with enthusiasm and heartfelt appreciation from the recipients.
