This project focuses on community-based visual and hearing screening for preschoolers and school-aged children, using innovative digital technology from hearX. Implemented primarily in schools attended by children of farm workers in the Western Cape, the initiative aims to identify and address dual sensory impairments early on.

By removing personal and educational barriers caused by undiagnosed hearing or vision issues, the project ensures that children can learn, participate, and thrive without limitations. Through this effort, 534 children have been given access to essential screenings, paving the way for healthier and more inclusive learning environments.
